An introduction

In September 2016, I answered a call for applications for the founding members of a youth formation set to rally the Filipino youth to engage in efforts towards achieving sustainable development.

I was fortunate enough to be selected and be a member of the dynamic team who started to build the 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines into what it is today.

The 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines is a community of youth advocating for the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. YFPH is anchored to the 2030 Youth Force of the Asia-Pacific Region, organized by the United Nations Development Programme and United Nations Volunteers.

As  the Head for External Affairs, I handle collaborations and partnership engagements of the formation.  I am also a board member of the now incorporated organization.

Together with other select youth leaders from across the country, we lead over 600 Filipino member-advocates for the Global Goals.

It’s been a privilege to work alongside people from diverse backgrounds, with the same passion to make a difference; them who are determined to pursue the same goals as I do, for the next two years until the end of our term in 2019, and even beyond.
